Coach Bauer is coming into his first season as head coach of the LSE Knights. He has previously coached for South Central Unified District #5. Coach Bauer wrestled for Kearney High School then went on to compete for the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Coach Bauer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nebraska-Kearney, majoring in K-12 Physical Education/Health while also getting a minor in Coaching.
Coach Skiles is starting his third season as a Knights wrestling coach. Coach Skiles has over 30 years of experience coaching wrestling. He was an assistant wrestling coach and head cross country coach at Lincoln East for over twenty years. Coach Skiles also wrestled for UNL while going to college. Currently he is teaching at Pound Middle School.
Coach Mettenbrink (Coach Cam) is coming into his third season as a Knights wrestling coach. He wrestled for Grand Island High School then went on to wrestle for Hastings College, in Hastings, NE. Coach Mettenbrink previously assisted with coaching the Lincoln Warriors and Lincoln High wrestling teams. He has his Master's Degree and is currently teaching Kindergarten at Lakeview Elementary School.
